Two explosions in the Lebanese capital city of Beirut on Thursday night according to Lebanon’s Ministry of Interior.

The official death toll remains unclear at this moment; the Ministry of Interior reported 20 civilians were killed, while Lebanese Hezbollah medics say the correct number is 27.

The Red Cross is reporting that 105 individuals have been injured from the explosions, which security forces suspect were suicide bombings.

The blasts hit the southern suburb of Burj al-Barajneh, one of the Shia Hezbollah movement’s strongholds, BBC reported.
